When thinking of typical Thai sports, what immediately comes to mind is Thai boxing, but have you ever heard of Takraw?

It’s played by 2 teams of either 2 or 3 players on a court that looks like a volleyball court. The net is a bit lower. The hard rattan ball used may only be touched by feet or head. This fast game takes a lot of practize.

Boys play it during their school breaks, and serious competitions are held during every kind of local festival.
