No Liquid on flights after June 1

Posted on 3:22 am by admin

The regulations introduced in Europe earlier this year, are soon into effect in Thailand as well.

No liquids will be allowed on board of international flights after June 1.

Excepted are baby milk and medication or containers with less than 100 ml, stored in a transparent and re-sealable plastic bag. Forbidden item include water, beverage, cream, lotion, oil, perfume, hair gel, spray, bath gel, foam, toothpaste and deodorant.

By this the Thai government is following instructions by the International Civil Aviation Organisation. We will soon find out, if personell at the airport takes this seriously or not. This announcemet comes at the same time as a new directive for Thai embassies abroad to screen visa applications for possible terrorists trying to enter the kingdom.
