Thailand News

Finding budget accommodation in Thailand is no problem - finding it online to book in advance is trickier. We can help you out here - find guesthouses and hotels in Thailand with great value for money.

Guesthouse of the month:

Mut Mee Guest House in Nong Khai

Mut Mee is a beautiful tropical tree filled garden on the banks of the Maekong River, in the small border town of Nong Khai in the far north-east of Thailand, in the region known as Isan.

Nongkhai is about 620 km north of Bangkok on the way to Vientianne, the capitol of Laos. A lot of travelers just pass by, but let me tell you, they really miss something.

If you plan a border run or are on your way to Laos, take a break in Nongkhai and enjoy a nice Thai or Western meal in Mut Mee's garden.

If you are like me and like your yoghurt without sugar, ask in the kitchen. They make their own!
